Nathan Harvey
Head trainer/ owner
Nate has been an avid dog person since childhood, handling working dogs since 2017 and began training dogs shortly after. He has experience with handling dogs in search and rescue, tracking, drug detection, and patrol. Nate has attended many clinics for working dogs in New England and New York, also participating in various decoy seminars. He has taken and taught classes in canine first aid for working dogs. Nate graduated from the Highland Canine Master Trainer Program in North Carolina.

Mary Bovaconti
Head groomer / assistant trainer
Mary is an experienced dog groomer, with over 5 years of expertise in horse, dog, and cat grooming. She has grown up with animals her whole life. Her love for horse show grooming brought her into the world of dog grooming after her horse had to be retired from the show world. Mary also has a background in horse and dog training where she will also be assisting Nate at EDC. Assistant Trainer
Ashlynn has been an avid dog enthusiast from a young age. She began her formal education in dog training in 2020 and has since worked and trained under several local dog trainers. She graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with a Bachelor's Degree in Canine Training and Management in 2024. Ashlynn now runs our puppy program, helps at the training center and is our go-to dog sitter.

Courtney Harvey

Courtney is Nate's wife and technical support. She is the Director of Student Life at Killington Mountain School and part time AEMT at Regional Ambulance Service. She has years of experience training horses, and started dog training with Nate as they trained from their home. She spent her youth working with sled dogs and Siberian huskies, skijoring for 7 years with her husky Aklark. Courtney competed in the Vermont Iron Dog Obstacle Course with their dog Stella multiple years, and has taken to agility and herding with her Border Collie, Kestrel.
K9 Cobalt
K9 Cobalt is the working dog that started Nate down the training path in 2017. He is a bicolor German Shepard import from Slovakia Nate trained in tracking, apprehension, and detection. He is now retired but had been certified as a police dog in VT since 2017, and became nationally certified by the USPCA. Cobalt is still a trusty member of our local search and rescue team.Katalyst Kennebec
Kenna is a lab co-own with Katalyst Kennels in CT, she was born in May of 2021 and came to join our pack in the fall of 2023. She is Nate’s current working dog, trained in cadaver detection. We are so happy to have her as part of our pack.Meredun's Kestrel
She was born March of 2021 and has lived up to her name, a lively, sweet, speedy, little spitfire Starting her career in aagility competition. She acheived her AKC agility ACT 1 standard in November 2022 with Courtney.Killingworth’s Woodland Dream RI
Woody is Mary’s first working dog and her motivation to become a trainer. Mary reached out to Nate and Courtney for some help when Woody was young. Woody competes in AKC rally / obedience. We have been training for THC detection, and will add nicotine so we can use him as a detection dog at local high schools. Woody has titles in AKC Rally intermediate, Advanced Canine Good Citizen, and Trick Dog Intermediate.
